- Transcription ([1] l.) of verse by Rolston, determined from reverse impression on verso of binder's fly leaf, laid in.
- Instructions "to the tener" on l. [2]. Figured hand notation key on verso of l. [1].
- Leaves [15-26] blank, except for tune titles.
- Watermark: W. Pickering & son, 1819.
- Paper embossed with crown encircled with words "Superfine, Bath."
- Letter ([1] p.) to Carleton Sprague Smith, from George Pullen Jackson, describing M. Rolston's notation as "Tufts" notation, laid in.
