- Ms. notebook containing tenor parts to 17 American hymn tunes, written in shape-note system.
- Letter (2 p.) from descendent of Watkins, giving history of ms., laid in.
- Compiled for singing school in Pendleton County, Kentucky, in 1809. Later poetic additions were added in 1824 by other family members. Ms. bound in tanned cowhide and lined in hand-woven linen.
