- Summary
- Covers the voyage of the ship Admiral Tegetthoff during the Österreichisch-Ungarische Polarexpedition from June 13, 1872 (embarcation in Geestemünde) to January 14, 1874. By then the ship, locked in ice, had drifted to the south of Franz Josef Land, which members of the expedition explored on sledges. Krisch had become too ill to write, and died on March 16.
