"Now now" is staple-bound in white card wrappers, color printed with drawing by Robert Branaman on front wrapper and excerpts from William S. Burroughs's Nova Express, printed in black, red, blue, and lime green, on back wrapper.
Contributors to "Now now" include David O. Bearden, Richard Brautigan, William S. Burroughs (under pseudonym William Lee), Allen Ginsberg, Gerard Malanga, Ann Plymell, Charles Plymell, Philip Whalen, and Diane Wakoski.
