- The 25th Annual Conference of the Council on Foundations, San Antonio, Texas. This program focuses on the current status of the Black and Chicano minorities in this country. Areas covered include the achievements of the Black movement, employment, education, income levels and management positions for Blacks, the situation in the Mexican-American population, the lack of the effective minority coalition, the need of minority groups to establish their own identities, problems confronting the American Indian, politics in the Chicano community, future strategies for minority groups, and violence versus non-violence as an approach toward solving these problems.
