N. attitude toward this situation, the unfortunate consequences if the free world does not persuade South Africa to withdraw, the influence of the western powers to force a withdrawal, the military capability of South Africa, the need for positive action and the forms it should take, the degreee of commitment on the part of the U. S., the lesson of Angola, and the opportunity for American success in this area.
