- Each part in the original lithographed tan paper covers, as issued, with date 1821. Series half-title issued with part 1; engraved t.p., dated 1823, and other preliminaries issued with pt. 12.
- Comprises engraved illustrated t.p., frontispiece, 8 preliminary p., and 60 full-page steel etchings by G. Corbould and others (printed by McQueen & Co.), after Batty, each accompanied by 2 p. of descriptive letterpress in English and French. Lithograph with armorial vignette on covers by C. Hullmandel's Lithography.
