- Four sonnets, La primavera, L'estate, L'autunno and L'inverno, originally published with the score of Vivaldi's Il cimento dell'armonia e dell'inventione, nos. 1-4 (known as The four seasons) and sometimes ascribed to the composer, with Snodgrass' translations printed in black on facing pages and in red accompanying the pertinent excerpts from the score.
