- Summary
- Bishop Abel Muzorewa, of the Rhodesian Executive Council, and U.S. ambassador Donald McHenry debate the issue of lifting economic sanctions against Rhodesia. McHenry maintains that the U.S. position to continue sanctions is to ensure that all contending groups involved will have an equal share of power in the emerging government. Muzorewa insists that the immediate lifting of sanctions will best serve the people of Rhodesia.
