- Summary
- Judge Frank Johnson discusses his career as federal district judge in Montgomery, Alabama from the 1950's to the early 1970's. In part I he recalls the landmark decisions he made, among them, declaring segregation illegal, abolishing the poll tax, and requiring Blacks to vote. In part II he discusses current legal issues and the role of federal judges in protecting the constitutional rights of citizens.
