- Summary
- Tells the story of Mims Hackett, a black school teacher in Orange, New Jersey, who was allegedly set-up by local police on a kidnapping charge when he was about to win a seat on the city council. Once 60 Minutes began investigating, he was let out on parole after serving only eight months of a thirty-year sentence, although he still has a felony charge on his record. The focus of the story centers on whether Hackett was set-up because he was black.
