Summary
Presentation of the Bronze Jubilee awards in Atlanta, Georgia. The awards honor those who have made significant contributions to black culture in Atlanta. Awards are given in drama, music, literature, dance, the visual arts, communication arts, and for contributing to the arts communicty. This year's presentation includes two special merit awards - one to the city of Atlanta for its support of the arts and one to Charlayne Hunter-Gault for her work in the broadcast media; it also includes two performances by the Morehouse Jazz Ensemble.
