Boston area topics: the status of various pending court cases; possible spinal cord treatments and the educational outlook for shooting victim Darryl Williams; attempts to reduce racial tension in the city; mayoral campaign news; Boston Housing Authority problems with crime; and an interview with black fashion designer, Derek Hector, owner of Clydes of Boston, Newburry Street. National topics: the rejuvenation of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference under Dr. Joseph Lowery; a recruitment drive by the KKK; and the start of joint security control over the Panama Canal. International topics: political problems of Guyana's Prime Minister, Forbes Burnham and the Zimbabwe constitutional fight.
