- Summary
- Rev. Thomas Thacher (1620-1678) was born at Milton Clevedon, Somersetshire, England. He emigrated to Boston, Massachusetts and lived there from 1667 to 1678. He was a minister and Dr. of Medicine at Boston, where he died. He married Elizabeth (Partridge) Kemp of Duxbury, Mass. in 1643. She was the daughter of Rev. Ralph Partridge of Salton, Kent, Eng. and they both emigrated to Boston. Thomas was the grandson of Rev. Peter Thacher (b.1545). Thomas and Elizabeth were the parents of four children and one adopted child. Several generations of ancestors and descendants are given.
