Summary

Portraits of beautician and businesswoman Esther Parham. Includes views of Parham standing with friends in front of her beauty salon, modeling hairstyles, attending a shower in her honor, on her wedding day, feeding chickens, and giving a party at her home. There are also views of her house, with interior shots of a decorated fireplace, a stove piled with canned goods, and Parham displaying her freezer. Other individuals pictured with Parham are Rose Morgan and Bessie Buchanan. Full, half and quarter length portraits are included.
