Summary
Portraits of blues musician B. B. King. Numerous views of King playing at various U.S. prisons such as the California Institution for Men at Chino, Dade County Stockade, Lorton Reformatory in Washington, D.C., Central Correctional Institution in Columbia, S.C., and meeting prison officials like Winston E. Moore prior to the Cook County Jail concert or receiving an honorary plaque from prisoner Willie Sells. Also images of King receiving his honorary degree from George A. Owens at Tougaloo College, and with his manager Sidney A. Seidenberg, F. Lee Bailey, and Wayne J. Smith as officers of FAIRR. One other group portrait shows Seidenberg, Weldon Cox, Richard Fulton and Smith at King's concert at Tennessee State Penitentiary. Full, half and quarter length views are included.
