- Summary
- Portraits of singer and saxaphonist Louis Jordan taken during the 1940s. Among the images in the collection are, motion picture stills from "Swing Parade of 1946" with Phil Regan, Will Osborne, Curly of the Three Stooges, the Manhattan Debs, and Harry Romm; Jordan playing the saxaphone with his band the Tympany Five; on the "Dean Martin Show"; recording with Bing Crosby; meeting with U.S. Navy men. Full, half and quarter length views are included.
