Summary

Photographic and photomechanical reproductions of portraits of French novelist and playwright Alexandre Dumas, père, that include portraits by French painter Honoré Daumier, and American artists Aaron Douglas (for PM Magazine) and Albert Alex Smith (for Opportunity Magazine.) Also included is a photographic view of Dumas's birthplace at Villers-Cotterets. Quarter, half and full-length views are represented.
