- Illustrations: 26 prints on various beige handmade Japanese papers : lithograph, black (1 reddish brown, 1 black and blue, 1 black and yellow ochre, 2 black and red) ; full-page (22) or larger (4) (size of primary support varies). Printed by Trestle Editions, New York, from aluminium plates, canceled after printing; 3 have colored backgrounds printed from linoleum blocks. Drawings for prints accompanying the first poem were made in 1967 as ill. to Rimbaud's Une saison en enfer. One image (Belknap 368) is repeated, with red background from linoleum block, as additional print (Belknap 380), mounted on front cover.
- Binding: Publisher's natural linen. Binding of the edition divided among 4 binders; this copy hand sewn and bound by Kim O'Donnell, Garthe Gaat Bindery, Hadley, Mass. Issued in a case by Portfoliobox, Providence, R.I.

Hand set at Stamperia Valdonega, Verona, Italy; first poem printed at Wild Carrot Letterpress, Hadley, Mass., second poem at Stamperia Valdonega, third poem at Heritage Printers, Charlotte, N.C. Signed in pencil by the poet and initialed in pencil by the artist. There were also 30 artist's proofs; cf. Belknap.
