Summary
Views of producer, singer, comedian and dancer (cake walker) Bert Williams dating from the late 1800's to the early 1900's. The collection consist of studio portraits, some of which show Williams in blackface. Williams also seen in group portraits with George Walker. Collection also includes a postcard showing the entrance of a theater with Bert Williams on the marquis. Half, three-quarter, quarter and full-length views are included.
