Writer, economist. Broadfield was a special consultant to the Executive Director of the Harlem Youth Opportunities Unlimited (HARYOU/ACT), 1966-1967; designer and director of the nation's first Domestic Peace Corps, 1961-1965; and Director of Program Development and Planning for the New York Urban League, 1971.
