Local Note
The copy in Sc 178-W (Waller, H. Trafficking in liquor) is a gift; probably one of the items added to the collection when Catherine A. Latimer was the Collection librarian and Lawrence Reddick was the Curator; the pamphlet includes NYPL's bookplate of "Arthur A. Schomburg Negro Collection," no NYPL's perforated stamp, ink stamp, or early processing marking of the original collection. Imperfect: lacking upper wrapper with cover title and half-title leaf; torn, some loose papers, library bound in hunter green cloth over boards and gilt spine title; currently housed in a commercially made 4-flap archival enclosured.
