G04256 in ink and stamp on several parts of the book; It's a gift, added to the collection ["August 24, 1932"-- G. K. Hall]; during Catherine A. Latimer, as curator and librarian years; It Lacks "Reference Collection of Negro Literature" bookplates that usually accompanied the pre-1926 collection. Bound in library binding, in marble pattern with a blue, navy, and light green colored cloth over boards, with the original blue wrappers, and gilt spine.
