C994678) is a presentation copy from Mr. Sparmyer, a Moravian missionary, to Benjamin Hale, former president of Hobart College, March 22, 1855.--cf.; inscription in manuscript on fly-leaf; G. K. Hall dated: March 19, 1948; one of the books that were added to the collection when Catherine A. Latimer was the collection librarian and Lawrence Reddick was the Curator; imperfect: lacks original cover; treated, and bound in black cloth over boards library binding, and gilt spine.
