Local Note
The Schomburg Center's Manuscripts, Archives & Rare Book Division's copy is probably a pre-1926 gift by A.A. Schomburg, added to the collection when Catherine A. Latimer was the collection librarian & curator. The pamphlet includes NYPL's bookplate of "Arthur A. Schomburg Negro Collection," the "Schomburg Collection" stamp, and the NYPL's perforated stamp; inscribed by A.A. Schomburg on page 24: "Gift A.A. Schomburg." Imperfect: bound in library binding, caramel color cloth over boards with additional blank pages at the back, and gilt spine.
