- A television program with a magazine news format aimed at an African American audience. Three separate segments are devoted, respectively, to Shahrazad Ali's controversial book "The Blackman's Guide to Understanding the Blackwoman" with excerpts from her appearence on the "The Phil Donahue Show" and commentary by Minister Don Muhammad and Dr. Vivian Gordon, a discussion of the benefits of historically black colleges by Duane Jackson and James Williams, and an interview with Melba Moore about her recording and music video of "Lift Every Voice and Sing" with other notable black performers.
