"Dr. Jean Adloff, my French instructor and also a writer, agreed to collaborate. His original pieces appear in French on the paper made by David Carruthers at La papeterie St-Armand in Montreal. My translations appear in 20th Century, overlaid with his corrections, and my comments on his text. The type was set by Mackenzie-Harris Corporation. The decorative papers were made at the Press. The coptic style binding was done by hand by Shelley Hoyt. One hundred and twenty-five copes were letterpress printed at Paradise Press" -- colophon.
Title on 3 succesive leaves (actually on 5 successive leaves).
Consists of 7 gatherings, each composed of 1 bifolium of cream handmade paper between 2 bifolia of translucent off-white kozo paper. Five leaves of kozo are blank (not counted in collation); 11 leaves of St.-Armand are printed on both sides.
Binding: publisher's blue and white paste paper boards, with printed paper label, in an unsupported sewing structure.
