  • Text (on leaves [4-5]) consists of a passage in an imaginary language, excerpted from Grand bal de la douairiere de Billebahault (1626), a ballet libretto by Bordier; Iliazd believed it resembled his invented language "Zaum." Cf. Isselbacher, p. 30.
  • Consists of 4 bifolia with text and ill. preceded and followed by blank bifolia of coarse gray paper. Blank sheets and blank leaves are not counted in collation, above.
  • Illustrations: 1 print : etching, aquatint, col. ; full-page. Printed by Georges Leblanc.
  • Issued unbound in double gray wrappers, in vellum covers, inserted in slipcase.
