The pamphlet includes stamps of: "Division of Negro Literature and History," "Property of the City of New York," and "The New York Public Library: Circulation Department, 135 Street Branch, 103 West 135th St. on several parts of the book. It contains a "The New York Public Library: Circulation Department, Reference Collection of Negro Literature" bookplate. it also has an NYPL's perforated stamp, which indicated it was probably it was later transferred to the Schomburg Collection. Imperfect: faded cover, bound in full hunter green cloth over boards, library binding, and gilt spine.
