Judkins II from various persons responding to an appeal in The American Agriculturalist, 1961 Jan. 7, for information about singing schools, singing masters, and song-books, for use in the daughter's master's thesis. Letters originate chiefly in the Northeastern States and contain reminiscences and other material covering years from about 1830 through 1921.
