- First published as: An account of the late intended insurrection among a portion of the blacks of this city. Published by the authority of the Corporation of Charleston. Charleston : Printed by A. E. Miller, 1822 (Shoemaker 8315).
- A second edition (not in Shoemaker) was also published at Boston, with a ten period ornament [i.e., ".........."] 1 centimeter above the words "Negro plot" in the title, and the words "Second edition" in small capitals, 1 centimeter above the ten period ornament.
