- The Schomburg Center Manuscripts, Archives & Rare Book Division possesses two copies of this book. The copy in Sc Rare 326.1-P (accession # D128490) is a September 11, 1942 addition to the Schomburg collection according to G.K. Hall v. 7, page 5939, column 3, row 1, when Catherine A. Latimer and Lawrence Reddick were the collection librarian & Curator. It includes NYPL's bookplate of "Arthur A. Schomburg Negro Collection," NYPL's perforated stamp, as well as the "Schomburg Collection" & "star" symbol ink stamps. The pamphlet has some imperfections, including stains, trimmed closed, part of the text may be lacking, each page is strength with tape and rebound on navy cloth over boards, library binding, with possibly original publisher's illustrated colored paper wrapper, and front cover. Page [3] of the cover pages have November 9, 1945, bounding date stamp.Copy in Sc Rare E 16-57 (Lapidus Collection) is a gift that is part of the Lapidus Collection added to the Schomburg collection in 2016. Imperfect: disbound & currently housed in an acid-free envelope.Copy in SEKH (Pitt. Speech on a motion for the abolution of the slave trade) has : Title page and verso [unnumbered] ; pages 31-32 only.
