Local Note
The Schomburg Center's Manuscripts, Archives & Rare Book Division's copy is a gift, probably added to the Schomburg collection when Catherine A. Latimer was the collection librarian and Lawrence Reddick was the Curator. The book is library-bound in red cloth over boards with gilt spine, and it features NYPL's Arthur A. Schomburg Negro Collection bookplate, perforated stamp, and early processing markings from the original Schomburg Collection.
