Local Note
The Schomburg Center's Manuscripts, Archives & Rare Book Division's copy is a post-Lawrence Reddick addition; added to the Schomburg collection on December 12, 1949, according to G. K. Hall, v. 7, page 6328, column 2, row 4. It contains an NYPL's bookplate of "Arthur A. Schomburg Negro Collection," but lacks the NYPL perforated stamp and some of the other stamps or processing markings of the original Schomburg Collection. Bound in navy blue cloth over boards, library binging, and gilt spine.
Copy in Sc Rare C 16-34 (Lapidus Collection) is a gift that is part of the Lapidus collection added to the Schomburg collection in 2016; bound in half brown leather with marbled paper boards.
