- Local Note
- The Schomburg Center's Manuscripts, Archives & Rare Book Division's copy is probably one of the books added to the collection when Catherine A. Latimer was the collection librarian; and Lawrence Reddick was the Curator. It includes NYPL's bookplate of "Arthur A. Schomburg Negro Collection," no NYPL perforated stamp or any other ink stamp but contains some early processing markings of the original Schomburg Collection. It's bound, or rebound, in hunter green cloth over board library binding; and gilt spine.
