- Local Note
- The Schomburg Center's Manuscripts, Archives & Rare Book Division's copy is probably one of the items added to the collection when Catherine A. Latimer was the collection librarian; and Lawrence Reddick was the Curator. It includes NYPL's bookplate of "Arthur A. Schomburg Negro Collection," no NYPL perforated stamp or ink stamp, but has some early processing marking of the original collection. Imperfect, it may have been treated and rebound in dark brown cloth over boards, library binding, with additional blank pages at the back; and gilt spine.
