Local Note
The Schomburg Center's Manuscripts, Archives & Rare Book Division's copy is a gift, probably from before 1926. It was most likely added to the collection during the time when Catherine A. Latimer worked as the collection librarian. The copy is not in perfect condition as it is disbound and has been treated. It also lacks its original cover, which means there is no NYPL's bookplate. However, it includes NYPL's perforated stamp and early processing markings of the original Schomburg Collection.
