Local Note
The Schomburg Center's Manuscripts, Archives & Rare Book Division's copy is a gift, probably by A. A. Schomburg, added to the Schomburg collection when Catherine A. Latimer was the collection librarian. It includes NYPL's bookplate of "Arthur A. Schomburg Negro Collection," "Schomburg collection" ink stamps, and early processing marking of the original collection, but no NYPL perforated stamp or seal. The pamphlet is library bound in orange cloth over boards, with additional blanc pages along the back and a gilt spine title.
