- Local Note
- The copy in the Manuscripts, Archives & Rare Book Division of the Schomburg Center is a gift, probably added to the collection sometime during Lawrence Reddick's term as Curator. The book bears NYPL's bookplate of "Arthur A. Schomburg Negro Collection," an ink stamp from the former owner with "H.M. Stationary office" written on it. The book has early processing markings but no perforated stamp or seal; library bound in red cloth over boards and has a gilt spine title.
