Local Note
The Schomburg Center Manuscripts, Archives & Rare Book Division has two copies of the pamphlets; copy 1 in Sc Rare 326.1-D (accession D202024) was originally part of the 135 Street Branch's Circulation Department. Probably added or transferred to the Schomburg collection when Catherine A. Latimer was the collection librarian and Lawrence Reddick was the Curator. It contains a 1940 onward bookplate of: "The Schomburg Collection of Negro Literature and History"; which indicated that the book may have been treated and rebound in black cloth over boards library binding, glit spine.
