Local Note
The Schomburg Center's Manuscripts, Archives & Rare Book Division's copy is a gift, probably added to the collection when Catherine A. Latimer was the collection librarian. It lacks the NYPL bookplate and perforated stamp but contains the "Schomburg Collection" red ink stamps and has some of the early processing markings of the original Schomburg Collection. It's imperfect: disbound, treated, sewn, tape spine, and rebound in natural soft paper wrappers; currently housed in a commercially made 4-flap archival binder.
