- Summary
- Views of the Indians of Arizona, including Apache, Hopi, Navaho, Pueblo and Yuma tribes: includes portraits of individuals and groups, Navaho hogan and loom; views of a Kachina dance including a view of the chief of the dance at the Moki village of Sichomovi; the government well at Oraibi; pueblos and villages include Moqui, Shonghopavi, Mishonginovi and Wolpi and "cave dwellings on Beaver Creek"; a group of Mohaves in a brush hut, one man very emaciated, entitled "Dying Mohave," also shows pottery in foreground; view entitled "Ration Day" showing long lines of Indians in front of buildings; views of individuals include "Dusty Sam," an Apache, holding bow and arrows; Hesh-pid-die with feather headress and holding a rifle; Gar, a scout; Hy-u-la; Num-pay-ya, "a Moqui maiden of the town of Te-qua, N.E. Arizona"; group of men and boys, some men wearing European military clothing and hats, some with painted faces, boys in foreground with bows and arrows, tents with wooden structure over them in background at Verde Reservation. Some views duplicated.
