- Views of Eastern Iowa: Cedar Rapids: Braun & Jones store, high school building with pupils out front, Commercial St.; Clinton: general view, bridge with draw closed, workers at entrance of "Union Works"; snow blockade on the Iowa Division of the Milwaukee & St. Paul Railroad between Conover and Ridgway, January, 1873: car passing though drifts that men are shown digging through; Davenport: street views, flood scene, June 26, 1880, young woman sitting at table in dining room of the Orphans' home; Iowa county meteorites in "Prof. Leonard's collectives"; canal and locks at Keokuk being built, bridge across Mississippi visible; views on the Maquoketa River including a log cabin, "Burt's Cave" and a stone bridge over the river; Muscatine: 4 views out of a 5 view panorama that includes mills, a steamboat on the Mississippi, a bridge and general view of the town; waterfront showing railroad siding, 3rd street showing trees planted along it, courthouse and soldiers' monument with people surrounding it; Victor: a table set with what looks like a wedding cake, other cakes and fruit, a snow covered street; Waterloo: homes, a group playing croquet (the players are identified on the back), a commercial block, a bridge and mill building along a river; two women working in Amana community kitchen (gift of Dorothea Lange to Picture Collection). Some views duplicated.
