Holyoke, the Connecticut River; street views including tree-lined Old Hadley St., Main St. with horse trolley, clock, Ingraham's photograph gallery, other businesses; the lunatic asylum; Old depot of the Connecticut River Railroad; bridges over a rushing stream; Fitch's Hotel; hail stones from a storm June 20, 1870, the largest 9 1/2 inches in circumference; big elm on Northampton meadow, 31 ft. in circumference; a large organ over the altar of a church; Smith College views including the main building, the president's house, a boarding house; Miss Olive Jones sitting sidesaddle on her horse as others look on from the porch of a home.
