- Views of streets in Boston: Battle St.: tightly packed buildings, traffic; Beacon St.: homes and the mall, overhung with trees, one in winter; Boylston St.: from an upper story, with trolleys; Commonwealth Ave.: large homes and Alexander Hamilton statue by William Rimmer; Franklin St. with buildings in a curve around the st., flag pole, tree, carriage and wagons; Hanover St.: commercial buildings, trolley tracks, awnings and signs; Market St.: north, showing commerical buildings, goods being transported, south, showing warehouses, wagons; Marlboro St.: large homes from a park; Milk St. from Federal St.; Pearl St.: commercial buildings, wagons; Scollay's square: including views of the Scollay building which was later replaced by the square, traffic incl. trolley, parade on Decoration Day, with pedestrians, views showing American flag with sign directing servicemen to pension, bounty office; State St.: cobblestone st. with wagons, the old State House, from the old state house, buildings with striped awnings, American flags hanging over St.; Summer St.: st. rebuilt after the fire.
