Views of the Capitol building in Washington, D.C.: includes several views from Pennsylvania Ave. showing houses, businesses, trolleys & trolley tracks; from the west capitol grounds; the East front from the north east; showing shrubs planted in front; with Greenough's statue of Washington; showing a carriage a the bottom of the east steps; sculpture: Columbus (Persico), "Civilization" (Greenough), Lincoln (by Vinnie Ream), "Freedom" (Crawford); the bronze doors by Rogers; Brumidi's painting in the dome, including details; the painting "Westward the course of Empire" by Leutze; Congressional library; the president's room; the east hall; the Marble room; the senate corridor; the House and Senate Chambers.
