- Views of the capitol, including construction scenes showing scaffolding on lantern of dome and stoneworking shed in foreground, crane on steps; views showing garden and fountains, the botanic garden conservatory, Greenough's Washington, horse trolleys in front of east steps, a row of homes in the foreground, steps leading from grounds to west front; views of the sculptures "Rescue" or "Civilization" (Greenough), Columbus and "Peace" by Persico; views of the house and senate chambers, the office of the sergeant-at-arms, the congressional library, corridors, the Marble room; a fresco in the President's room, statuary hall and Franzoni's historical clock in the Old House chambers, Brumidi's painting in the dome.
