- Views of Johnstown taken after the flood of May 31, 1889: general views, the river, the broken dam, views of wreckage filled streets, logs and debris, wrecked railroad cars, stone railroad bridge with debris piled behind it, one view taken showing blasting of the debris, the Millville school house used a morgue, tents, men recovering bodies, site of No. 6 bridge, built of masonry, totally destroyed, view of Woodvale where 320 buildings were destroyed, Sandyville Cemetery covered with debris, ruins of the Catholic Church, destroyed by fire, "Romey," hero dog of the flood with owners, men recovering bodies, coffins covered with canvas, woman and two children on steps overlooking destruction.
