- Consists of 36 bifolia in 4-leaf gatherings and final blank bifolium; the latter and 3 blank leaves at beginning are not counted in collation.
- Illustrations: 24 prints (1 on front cover) : transfer lithograph, b&w ; full-page (8), double-page (2) or smaller. Pulled by Fernand Mourlot, Paris. Front cover illustration is a combination of lithography and cut paper work, revealing title on supporting sheet beneath cutout. References: Goeppert; Bloch, G. - 255 copies printed by Imprimerie artistique, Monaco, including 56 copies with 1 or 2 suites of the prints, of which 16 also contained an additional print. No. 155 of 199 copies on Rives pure rag paper, numbered in arabic, issued with 24 prints only; signed in pencil by the artist ("Picasso 10") and the author ("Jean Cocteau X"). Several additional copies were reserved for the collaborators; cf. colophon.
