Views of Newport: general views; Ft. Adams, Ft. "Dumpling" (Ft. Brown), and a torpedo explosion; the Old Stone Tower, the Casino, the Redwood Library, Friends Meeting House, the boat house, the Parade, Pelham St., Love Lane, Mann Ave., Touro Park in winter and Com. Matthew Perry statue, windmill; homes: C. Cushman's, Richardson's, Bishop Berkeley's, "Porter Villa," "villa" on Bellevue Ave. with stork statue in front; rock formations: Negro Head, Purgatory, Spouting Cave, the 40 steps, Winan's fishing bridge; beaches: First beach, Cliff beach, Easton or Bailey's beach and people and carriages on and near the beach; sailboats in the harbor, including one sailing toward the camera, view of the "old chair of state;" girl on back of donkey hitched to cart; horse, "Gypsy Maid, owned by J. A. Williams" and man holding reins; steamboat: "Day Star"; group playing croquet in front of house or boarding house.
